Hiking Demanding

Hellandsnuten towers majestically over the town of Sand. From the top you can see five fjords: the Sandsfjord, Hylsfjord, Saudafjord, Vindafjord and Lovrafjord.

Park at the Eide sports hall, or at the end of the road at Kløv. From the sports hall take the trail to the upper tractor road. If you park at Kløv, follow the tractor road and turn right at the first crossing, turning right again onto the marked trail where the read levels off. The trail climbs steeply to Hellandsnuten. From the summit you have the option of continuing to Hellandsstølen and descending from there on the marked trail.
