In the 19th century, several English lords discovered Suldal and the Suldalslågen river. They built magnificent salmon lodges there, secured fishing rights to the river for a full 40 years, introduced sport fishing, and contributed positively to the development of the local community. In the video, landowner and salmon enthusiast, Bjørn Moe, recounts the arrival of the Englishmen in the area.
