Suldalslågen is a privately owned river, and fishing rights are perhaps among the oldest traditions in Norway. To this day, the farms along both sides of the river have the right to fish in a section of the river, which they either use themselves or put up for sale.
The owners of the river are organized through Suldalslågen Forvaltningslag, which you can read more about on their website www.suldalslagen.no.
