Suldal is located at the junction of the Ryfylke and Hardanger National Scenic Routes. Winding roads, towering mountains, deep fjords, and quiet service roads make Suldal the perfect base for motorcycle tours in Western Norway. Located 1.5 hours from Haugesund and 2 hours from Stavanger, you can choose a new route every day. Motorcycle tips: Ride the Suldal – Sauda – Røldal architecture loop (220 km), featuring industrial architecture, Allmannajuvet, and the Svandalsfossen waterfall.
Take the service road up to Blåsjø, 1,000 meters above sea level. Please note that the road is closed during winter.
Combine your trip with the Discovery Route or the Skuleskardvegen road. Several accommodation providers in Suldal offer special services for motorcyclists, including ample parking, maintenance equipment, and dinner menus. Need help with your route? Contact us at suldal@visitsuldal.no.
