Reis Grønt

Choosing experiences and accommodations with the "Reis Grønt" label ensures that the businesses you support take active environmental responsibility.

Suldal as a "Sustainable Destination"

Suldal was designated under the "Sustainable Destination" scheme in 2020. "Sustainable Destination" is a national scheme provided by Innovation Norway and offers tools for destinations that wish to work purposefully to develop the tourism industry in a way that ensures good experiences today, while protecting resources so that future generations also have the basis to meet their needs. This is achieved by mapping over 100 indicators related to economic, social, and environmental sustainability. Read more about the scheme by clicking here.

Environmental Certifications

Several businesses in Suldal also work strategically with sustainability through various environmental certifications. To make it easy to choose sustainably when traveling to Suldal, all these operators are marked with the "Reis Grønt" grass tuft here on visitsuldal.no. See all with the certification here.
