Sand Marina is charmingly situated at the river mouth where the fjord meets Suldalslågen: Western Norway's largest salmon river. The marina is located in the very center of Sand, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, the cultural center, and museums. Ryfylke Fjordhotel is also a close neighbor.
There are excellent hiking opportunities in the area, and a visit to the Salmon Studio and a round trip to the architectural gem Høse Bridge are highly recommended.
There is a fuel pump at the harbor, and a petrol station and workshop a little further down the street.
