Suldalslågen flows calmly for 22 km through the Suldal valley, from Lake Suldalsvatnet to Sandsfossen waterfall and Sandsfjorden. Throughout history, the river has been a source of both great opportunity and disputes over fishing rights. Today, it is a renowned salmon river, famous for a large salmon population, with a record catch of 34 kilograms.
