Hydrokaien is located in Nordenden, which marks the end of the beach town of Sand. Hydrokaien is within walking distance of Sand town center, which offers various shops, a pharmacy, grocery stores, and Sand square with different market days and events. You can also visit Laksestudio (Salmon Studio) and Høse-Bru (Høse Bridge), which are part of a longer scenic route. Sand town center is also an excellent starting point for various hiking and cycling routes.
