Lindum is one of several salmon manors in Suldal, and today symbolizes the era when Englishmen came to Suldal to fish for salmon. During the First and Second World Wars, the building was used as a care home for tuberculosis patients, and later as a rehabilitation center and a course and conference venue. Today, Lindum Salmon Manor is open to guests during the summer season, offering excellent facilities for motorhomes, caravans, tents, and those wishing to rent a cabin. The area is located by the Suldalslågen river, with a grocery store, swimming and fishing opportunities, and numerous hiking trails nearby.
Lindum also has a communal grill that guests can use for free.
