In 2020, farmers Toyni Tobekk and Arild Hebnes made a big decision – they transitioned from pig farming to fully pursuing their dream of creating a vineyard! In the spring of 2021, the first grapevines were planted, and in 2022, the first guests could visit the farm to taste the wines that had been cultivated at the junction of Vindafjorden, Sandsfjorden, Jelsafjorden, and Nedstandsfjorden. With this, they also became the first vineyard in Rogaland!
Hebnes Vineyard, with Toyni and Arild, invites individuals and groups for tours throughout the year. The entire tour takes approximately 1.5 hours, including a stroll among the grapevines before heading up to the production facilities. Here, you'll get an introduction to how the grapes are turned into wine, and of course, there will be an opportunity to taste the vineyard's own wines combined with other excellent local products. During the summer season, they have fixed open days for individuals, while groups can contact them to arrange a visit. On selected days, they also offer tours combined with a fjord cruise with Rødne from Stavanger and Tau.
