The Ryfylke Museum's main office is located in Nordenden in Sand town center, in Nesasjøhuset, a restored boathouse. The premises are beautiful and inviting, reflecting the long history of this coastal town, while the fjord laps against the window. Here you can find various local literature, including local history books, themed books, and much more, several of which are produced by the museum's staff. In the shop, you will also find various local products and handicrafts.
Coffee and waffles are available in the museum's cafe, and on the second and third floors, you can explore exhibitions about the local community and the children's exhibition 'Kvitebjørnen' (The White Bear), which is based on a fairy tale by local author Rasmus Løland.
The Ryfylke Museum is Eco-Lighthouse certified.
