


Sandsahytta: Sandsahytta is a DNT cabin beautifully situated in a traditional mountain farm landscape by the regulated Sandsavatnet lake, with views of Svultanuten and Napen. The cabin has 44 beds distributed across 12 bedrooms, a large fireplace lounge, and a spacious terrace. It is self-service and open to everyone — both DNT members and non-members. It's an excellent starting point for summit hikes to Napen (1350 masl), Reinsnuten (1144 masl), and Svinstølnuten (1178 masl). During the most popular summer weeks, boat transport across Sandsavatnet can be arranged.

Jonstøl Tourist Cabin: Jonstøl is a DNT cabin in Bråtveitheiane that was completed in 2014. This award-winning main lodge showcases the best of over 100 years of cabin construction and received a local building award in 2015.
The cabin is a natural stop on a hike in Suldalsheiane — either for an overnight stay or a rest stop on your journey.
Bleskestadmoen Tourist Cabin: Bleskestadmoen is the oldest cabin of the Stavanger Trekking Association, situated on a lush mountain pasture surrounded by mountain birch forest and barren mountains. The old cabin dates back to 1891 and was restored in 2001, at the same time a brand new main cabin was built. In earlier times, people from Suldal and eastern Norway met here for horse trading. The cabin is self-service with a food supply and is open all year round. There are fishing opportunities in Bleskestadåna — an STF membership card serves as a fishing license.

Holmevasshytta Tourist Cabin: Holmevasshytta is Stavanger Trekking Association's highest-lying cabin, at 1130 meters above sea level. It is beautifully situated on the wide Fidjaflatene plains with views over Holmavatnet, and is a day's hike south from Haukeliseter. The cabin is self-service with a provisions store and open all year round, offering 20 beds in the main cabin and 6 in the annex. Please note that the cabin is closed for the first two weeks of reindeer hunting each year. DNT membership cards are valid as fishing licenses in Holmavatnet and along Bleskestadåna.
Krossvatn Tourist Cabin: Krossvatn is a DNT cabin located in the heart of the Dyraheio Landscape Protection Area — in the traditional hunting grounds of the Suldal locals.

Kvanndalen Tourist Cabin: Kvanndalen Tourist Cabin is situated in a lush and beautiful valley where the Kvanndalselva river winds in gentle bends and narrow rapids throughout the valley. It's an idyllic DNT cabin for those seeking peace and untouched nature.
Stranddalen Tourist Cabin: Stranddalen is the most popular DNT cabin in the area and is often called "The Pearl of Ryfylkeheiane." During the summer season, the cabin is staffed with hosts offering full catering — perfect as a destination for a longer mountain hike.

Stranddalshytta Gullingen: Stranddalshytta — "The Pearl of Ryfylkeheiane" — is located at 1000 meters above sea level, managed by Stavanger Trekking Association (STF). The cabin has 48 beds distributed among 16 rooms. During the summer season, the cabin is staffed with hosts who serve homemade food based on local ingredients — several times a week they serve traditional "komle" (potato dumpling) dinner. The cabin is open all year round and is suitable both as a day trip destination and as part of a longer round trip between the tourist cabins in Suldalsheiane.
