Lågabrua

The beautiful Lågabrua bridge over the Suldalslågen river is well worth a stop. On fine summer days, you can sit down and watch the salmon fishermen in the river, hunting for big salmon.

Lågabrua is the oldest bridge over the Suldalslågen river, connecting Nærheim and Ritland along the Ryfylke National Tourist Route. The bridge was likely completed in the 18th century. It was built by Ole Olsen Songesand, a local legend.
