Farm visit to Suldalshonning

Producing honey is a slow and almost scientific process, one that farmers Lars and Helene at Våge farm have dedicated themselves to. Did you know, for example, that each beehive produces honey with its own unique character? Throughout the year, they follow the lives of their bees to ensure they can deliver the best honey to your table.

Våge farm is beautifully situated by Suldalsvatnet lake, offering fantastic views of the surrounding landscape. Here, you'll be taken into the production facilities where you can follow the entire process from flower to jar and gain insight into their beekeeping. There will also be tastings of their honey products, which come from beehives they have placed throughout the municipality.

The experience is suitable for children as well as adults, and a visit takes approximately 1.5 hours. Read more at suldalshonning.no
