Ryfylkedagane

Save the first weekend in June for Suldal's big public festival, Ryfylkedagane, in the municipal center Sand. This is a big market day lasting three days, with a variety of activities, concerts, and events for the whole family.

On Friday and Saturday, you can find great deals in the municipal center with over 80 exhibitors at the market day. There will also be a variety of events and activities this weekend, including concerts, a dedicated youth event, a fishing competition, a barbecue day, and more.

Each year, 1500 numbered rubber ducks are released down Western Norway's largest river, Suldalslågen. The owner of the first duck to reach the finish line wins 25,000 kroner, which must be spent within a certain timeframe on the market day. All proceeds go to support the work of Suldal Red Cross.
