Farm visit to Fuglestein Fruktgard

Fuglestein Fruktgard is idyllically situated on the mountainside above Økstrafjorden with panoramic views of the fjord landscape. Here, apple farmers Jon Anders and Generosa have over 17,000 apple trees, which they process into products such as apple juice and apple jelly.

On a trip to the fruit farm, you will get a guided tour of the apple orchard where you will learn more about the organic processes that Jon Anders and Generosa have dedicated themselves to, before continuing up to the farmyard where various samples are served. If desired, you can also enjoy samples of cured meats from Landsnes Villsauprodukter who are their closest neighbours. By the road, they also have their own farm shop.

Fuglestein Fruktgard welcomes groups by appointment, and a guided tour takes approximately 1.5 hours. Read more at fuglestein.no.
