Farm visit to Hebnes vineyard

Hebnes Vineyard is Suldal's very own vineyard! When visiting the estate, you can explore the vineyard, taste the estate's own wines, and learn about the processes involved in wine production.

The vineyard at Hebnes is run by farmers Arild Hebnes and Toyni Tobekk. A visit to the estate takes approximately 1.5 hours, starting with a walk through the vineyard. You then proceed into the production facilities where you will learn about the processes involved in wine production and receive tastings. A visit to the estate can also be combined with lunch based on local ingredients. The estate is open for group visits all year round and for individual bookings on selected days during the summer season. Visit hebnesvingard.no for prices, opening hours, and more information.

Hebnes Vineyard is located in Hebnes, right at the tip of the peninsula of Ropeidhalvøya between Vindafjorden and Sandsfjorden. Here you get a fantastic view over Nedstandfjorden and Jelsafjorden, and on clear days, you can see all the way out to the North Sea. Hebnes has a rich history stretching back many centuries. At Hebnes quay, you'll find, among other things, the memorial to Torstein av Heimnes, the greatest chieftain in Ryfylke in the 13th century and an important figure during the historic battle against Duke Skule in 1240. The Ropeidhalvøya peninsula also offers great hiking opportunities, fishing possibilities, and other historical points of interest.

Good accessibility: The vineyard can be challenging to navigate for people using wheelchairs, strollers, etc. The production facility where the tour concludes is easily accessible with parking right next to it. There is also an accessible toilet here, easily usable for wheelchair users. Please contact us for more information.
