Large Trout Fishing in Suldalsvatnet

Suldalsvatnet is Rogaland's largest lake, offering excellent opportunities to catch large trout for dinner.

The lake itself is located 68 meters above sea level and spans approximately 30 square kilometers. The lake has a dense char population and a good trout population. You'll find the lake when driving along RV 13 by Suldalsosen. Fishing licenses are available via iNatur here.

From Vikane Hyttetun (south side) and Energihotellet (north side) you can rent boats and canoes.

Well-facilitated: In some areas along Suldalsvatnet, there is good access, for example, at Nesflaten quay. Here, there is a paved area where you can get right down to the water. Contact us for more information.
